The Advanced Clinical Trial Monitoring course took place 02-03 May 2018, hosted by the KAVI Institute of Clinical Research, University of Nairobi. The two days’ course was jointly organized by ClinWin Research Services (CRO) www.cliniwinresearch.com and KAVI Institute of Clinical Research http://www.kaviuon.org/ . The participants at this course are experienced Clinical Trial Monitors who are part of the ongoing reciprocal clinical research monitoring project of the East African Consortium for Clinical Research http://eaccr.org/ , with funding from European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) http://eaccr.org/ .
The course aims to prepare the experience Monitors for high level Clinical trials projects management, study monitoring, site management, risk based monitoring, clinical quality, advanced GCP, study subject protection, budgets and contracts among others.
